Oh man, so adorable! I used to have a rat, Ratigan, but he was nasty because he was not properly cared for by his previous owners. I've been wanting to get another one, but I am worried about how my ferrets would be with a rat...

No! Rats bite if they are stressed and scared from poor living conditions or abuse just like a dog would. They are very sweet creatures <3

They are so adorable, I had a hamster before.. but he passed away already. The Rats, do they live for a very long time?

They live for about 3 years I believe. They are wonderful pets, but they do need more room and more things to play with then a hamster. Rat's are very smart.
