Here is a commission I did for a customer at Stellar Flutes my family business. Aside from being a polymer clay artist, I also hand make Native American style wood flutes and co-own a company called Stellar Flutes with my father. [link]

For those of you who are wondering what a block is, it is a small piece of wood that sits on top of the flute and channels air across the “fipple) hole to make sound. Or to simplify, it does what your lips do on a silver side blown flute.

Wow... I was JUST looking at this block online not even a week ago! You are amazing to be able to craft beautiful instruments... it's a far-off dream of mine to do the same, but someday I'd love one of yours. :) Beautiful job with both clay and wood.

That's pretty good! My single chamber flute was a little over $300 and I am no stranger to instrument expenses, haha. :) I adore the sound of the drones, just gorgeous.
